ABOUT US

NOTE: We are accepting new patients starting in 2025.

Our Merritt Island facility will be under construction until Summer 2025 and in the interim, patients will be seen in our satellite office or in your home or facility.

At Encore, we take a functional and integrative approach to Speech, Language, and Swallowing Therapy. Our mission is to empower individuals by addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to promote healing and growth. We believe that true progress begins with providing the body with proper nutrition and adopting lifestyle changes that support overall wellness. When the body is nurtured, healing becomes possible, paving the way to achieve communication goals.

We are inspired by the belief that our bodies are beautifully and wonderfully made. While we cannot “fix what is broken” on our own, we are dedicated to partnering with you to help you reach your highest potential. We understand that you are capable of more than you ever imagined, and we are here to provide the tools and resources to guide you on your journey to becoming your whole, wonderful self.

Our therapy sessions integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to meet your unique needs. These approaches may include:

  • Sensory-motor integration
  • Oral motor techniques
  • Executive functioning and memory strategies
  • Health, diet, and lifestyle coaching
  • Social skills and pragmatics groups
  • Community integration
  • Home adaptations
  • Neurofeedback
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Apraxia motor sequencing
  • And more

Collaboration is at the heart of our practice. We often work in multidisciplinary teams with other specialists and providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

Encore proudly serves both children and adults, addressing a wide range of challenges in speech, language, and swallowing. Whether you or your loved one is seeking support, we are here to help you thrive every step of the way.
